15.11.2008 Windy, Cool day
What a day..tired, sleepy, but feeling good! Went out early today to catch up with Myer's Christmas Parade today on Bourke Street. This is the first Christmas Parade that I'd ever seen after coming to Melbourne for almost two years. It was grand and cool. The whole street was packed and even Channel 7 was there to shoot the whole parade Live.
The parade made me feel like a kid altho i'm officially 21 now :S Saw Bugs Bunny, Scooby Doo (seemed like the one I saw in MovieWorld at Gold Coast), Kung Fu Panda, Star Wars characters...but having the opportunity to see Carl Riseley (2007's 2nd runner up Australian Idol - my favourite Aus Idol) and Leisel Jones (2008 Beijing Olympics Swimming Gold Medalist Olympian and World Record Holder) cheered me up a lot. Never expected to see them, but God is good all the time! :D
Although Carl smiled directly into my camera BUT my camera battery died ON TIME! =.= Disappointed~ Didn't get to take that picture :(
